Grace Church Delhi: Update: May

Brief Description

Grace Church Delhi has taken up some programs between May and July, to begin with the Mother’s Day on 13^th May was a blessing as many students read out poems about the mothers and prayed for their mother, and also remembered some of them who lost their mother, the women group led the praise and worship. Pastor preached from Hebrews 11 base on the story of Moses “The influence of godly mother”. After the joyous mother’s day program the following Sunday was a farewell Sunday for Marian Koto from Fiji Island and Lucia from Kenya. We had a good time worshiping the Lord with Marian for the last 6 months, we miss her and we are praying for her, we learnt that the Lord has blessed her with good job in Fiji now. May you be a blessing to your parents and to your friends in the Lord.

Month of June was blessing, we had our first anniversary on 10^th June, and we had a good time of celebration, we invite friends to share the goodness of God. The members shared their testimonies, how Grace church as a family has been a blessing to them. Pastor challenged the congregation about the faithfulness of God based on Lamentations 3:22-26. We thank the Lord for His faithfulness, blessing and providence toward His church.

On 9^th June friends from America came to teach English class to the university students. In collaboration with the Fusion India we could able to host an English camp from 11^th-14^th June. Around 40 young people participated the camp; everyone enjoys the teaching and have learnt so many thing from it. Big thanks to the teachers, Mrs. Ann, Mr. Dan and Mr. Dick for their rentless and tireless sacrifice, all the glory to God.

17^th July was the Father’s day, many students testified and express their thankfulness to God for giving them a godly father. We all prayed for our parents. On 19^th we had a friendly football match between Maring church and Grace Church. 20^th July was a special day as all the church leaders get together to join our hearts in prayer for the church.

In all these programs our church members invited so many friends and almost all of them heard the gospel for the first time. We thank you all for your prayer and financial support; keep praying for the work here. We will keep updating the blessing even in the days to come.
